HISTORICAL O'HIGGINS

As part of the celebration of 200 years of the Chamber of Deputies, this contest seeks to discover an unknown facet of the figure of Father of the Bernardo O'Higgins Riquelme, their status as Member of the First Congress National, formed on July 4, 1811.

is a competition of historical research that seeks to rescue the legacy and libertarian values, democratic and representative of O `Higgins in their parliamentary activity as a way of projecting the current democracy. Is aimed at young secondary school students across the country, who may form groups of 3 students minimum and maximum 5 and choose between two types or categories:

- Test
- visual representation (play, video or documentary)

The contest is divided into two stages:

- The first considers a selection from all participating schools in each region of Chile, by category.

- The second provides that the selected move to a national final to be held at the headquarters of the Chamber of Deputies, in Valparaiso.

Stage Registration begins April 15 through May 15. The papers will be received between 16 May and 20 August. The process selection of papers will take place from 21 August to 4 September. The Final will be held on 4 October at the National Congress in Valparaíso.

Evidence of access to training cycles
